Kelayakan
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years working experience in similar field.
- Good supervisory skills and able to manage and motivate staff.
- Sound knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering system, principles and practices especially in construction and development industry.
- Able to abide to the government regulatory on M&E and site safety measures.
- Computer literate.
Responsibilities
- To plan, direct and co-ordinate the entire Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Domestic Contractors (DC) activities to comply with consultant, services provider and local authorities specifications, requirements and codes.
- To ensure the implementation of M&E (DC) works are compliance with contractual terms, conditions and obligation.
- To ensure compliance to quality standards throughout all phases of the M&E (DC) construction process.
- To implement relevant policies, activities, procedures, instructions as required by the QHS management system.
- To liaise with client, consultant, sub-contractor, suppliers and local authority to ensure the Utilities Relocation Works are carried out according to contract requirement.
- To specify and implement M&E work procedures and methods.
- To ensure the preparation of shop drawings, method statements and samples are in order and obtain approval from relevant party.
- To plan resources based on construction schedules and ensure full utilization of resources.
- To conduct meeting and to ensure action plan are drawn up.
- To prepare and update time schedules and monitor progress of work schedules in terms of physical and financial.
- To ensure safety measures are implemented on site.
- Evaluating and deciding whether technical matters on mechanical and electrical are complying with the agreed requirements and standard specifications.
- To manage procurement of all electrical and mechanical major requirement and materials. To ensure proper material handling, storage planning and storage.
